Updating the DIVA T/A Firmware

This section contains procedures for loading new firmware.

Updating Firmware under Windows

3.x/WFW 3.11

Warning: When you update your DIVA T/A firmware, the current

profile configurations might get erased. It is recommended, therefore,

that you record your current settings and SPID numbers before

updating (use the Windows Configuration Tool to view your current

settings).

Follow these steps:

Start the DIVA T/A Configuration Tool.

Select the DIVA T/A and click Properties.

Click Download and specify the appropriate path.

Confirm the request.

Verify the configuration of your DIVA T/A.

Updating Firmware under Windows NT

and 95/98

Note: When you download new firmware, DIVA T/A will ask you if

you want to export your current profiles. It is recommended that you

export the profiles. This assures you have a backup available in the

event the profiles are lost during the download. If the profiles do get

lost, use the Import Profile command and copy the exported profiles

back to the device.

To update your firmware:

From the DIVA Eicon Terminal Adapters Program, select the

DIVA Terminal Adapter to which you are going to download

new firmware.

From the File menu, select Download Firmware (or right click

your mouse, and then select Download Firmware).
