Understanding the Signal Lights

The three lights (LEDs) on the front panel of the NT1 provide

information about the status of the NT1 and the ISDN line.

Light State Explanation

L-BK Off Normal.

On Your ISDN service provider is

conducting a loopback test.

LINE On The S/T and U interfaces are not active.

Flashes 8 times The NT1 is trying to activate the

U-interface link.

Flashes once per second The S/T interface is not fully active.

Off The S/T and U interfaces are fully active.

PWR On The power supply is connected.

Off The NT1 is not receiving power.
